So on my infamous list of things to do are a whole host of exploratory “breakout” projects.  Everything from another book to a web TV show, from digital children’s stories to comic strips on a cell phone, from pitching movie and TV show ideas in Burbank next June to attending the next meeting of the American Solar Energy Society.  It’s all on the list and I am currently doing my best to incrementally pursue at least three of these projects.  And, true to the basic theme of my book, I find myself facing the Sisyphaen Challenge.

Fortunately, one of the projects I was able to incrementally finish was the digitization of my entire collection of record albums (big black CDs in the parlance of my granddaughter).  This, when coupled with my wireless-SONOS-networked-digital-jukebox-system, allows me to crank up the volume on randomly selected tunes.  However, since I don’t believe anything is truly random, there must be a reason particular tunes catch my ear throughout the day.

Case in point, while struggling with what to write in today’s epistle, along came Huey Lewis and the News…Working for a livin
next came BB King with “Nobody Loves me but my mother…,and she could be jivin too”.

After listening to these bluesy numbers, I realized that, all things considered, it was time to sing along with RANDOMLY(?) chosen Joe Cocker “…Yes I’m feelin alright”.

Trust me fellow workers with dreams music IS the doctor!
